Lessons

Our expert staff provide
personalized instruction for all skill levels.

On your first day of instruction, you and your group of 3 or 4 comparably skilled guests will be assigned a professional instructor. Your instructor will implement a lesson plan complete with drills, games and real match play tailored to the skill level of your group and its goals. Our instructors will not force you to change your game, but will design their lessons to improve what you already have in your arsenal.

Beginner

At the beginner level guests will focus on the fundamentals of pickleball. Instructors will teach players the rules of pickleball and the basic shots: serve, forehand, backhand, volley, lob and overhead while incorporating drills for movement, quickness and positioning. Lessons will be tailored for doubles match play. Drills and games are designed so guests practice each fundamental, stroke and strategy.

Intermediate

In addition to solidifying all the fundamentals of the basic strokes and strategies, intermediate will learn to hit spin serves, forceful returns of serve, approach shots, punch volleys and winning overheads. Consistency and keeping the ball in play are key components to an intermediate’s improvement.

Advanced

Advanced players work on finesse, touch and power and when it is appropriate to use each of them. Finesse means being able to consistently place your third shot into the NVZ (no volley zone); improve your touch when a dink is the right shot to hit; and return serves with power and accuracy to your opponents weakness.
